Boo, reading slump!

Out of 618 reads and 103 dnfs I've given 28 books 5 stars......Do I have mid taste or do authors write mid books? Both.

It's more catty drama than thriller.

The male narrator sounds so dude-bro I felt like he was bragging and mansplaining at the same time.

The fmc is immature. The miscommunication is terrible. He's telling her how he feels a million times, helps her a billion times and she is so oblivious and did I say miscommunication? Cooper, you deserve the best.

The mmc reminds me of Shane Hollander. His inner monologue is cute, embarrassing and fun.

At this point, I need to look up every single book I want to read and if the ratings are terrible, kick it off the list.
