Steve is 55% done with Majipoor Chronicles (Lord Valentine, #2)
Silverberg keeps you turning pages, but with all the Majipoor stuff I find myself so often shaking my head at the world construction and/or the various outcomes. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT: No matter how much I read, I can not be convinced that millions would choose to live their lives in a dank cave miles below the ground, especially since so much else of Majipoor is depicted as incredibly splendrous.
