library loan has ended, will pick it up again when i reborrow it

similar to shuggie bain in many ways and while i liked shuggie bain, i'm not sure i want to read the same book from the same author twice

i'm so sad.. and despite the fact that i know this book will wreck me, it's my favorite lily king book before i even finish reading it.

i must've missed something when oscar was first introduced because in my head he's in his late sixties/early seventies and the fact that he's into a thirty year old and talks about his mom a lot is making me uncomfortable :/ that's on me though, he's not a senior citizen

i'm almost halfway through and this book isn't how i expected it to be and not in a good way :/ i had high hopes for this why am i struggling sm with it

i'm struggling just a teeny bit with it idk why. it could be some sort of a trc induced-rut

very long day and work kinda sucked but this was def the highlight of my day :')) i love them sm

i'm so glad i'm back for a reread only a year later (it normally takes me longer to want to reread a book) and this time i'm doing the audiobook. very engaging and entertaining, bourdain-style. the only audiobook i'm playing on normal speed

so far kavinsky has snorted enough c*ke to last a small village a year or two. other than that ronan is stressing me out, adam is stressing me out and gansey is ganseyly stressing me out

why is there barely any adam in here? helloo what's up with that. also the bond between noah and blue makes me so emotional, i can read an entire book of them just hanging out and it wouldn't bore me. chapter 31 had me teary-eyed :,(
