i have a terrible feeling about this quest :D

verity telling fitz how bad he wished chivalry was still alive to tell him what to do made my heart ache. i admit i never gave much thought to how verity must be after losing his brother before reading this chapter.. and it's not just abt losing his brother but the man he blindly trusted and followed. i wonder if we'll ever find out how chivalry really died but i strongly doubt that

i did not see that coming :0

i have some issues with the writing style but i might just be too critical, i'll probably get over it

life and work are getting in the way so i'm reading at a snail's pace, but i'm having a lot of fun

library loan has ended, will pick it up again when i reborrow it

similar to shuggie bain in many ways and while i liked shuggie bain, i'm not sure i want to read the same book from the same author twice

i'm so sad.. and despite the fact that i know this book will wreck me, it's my favorite lily king book before i even finish reading it.

i must've missed something when oscar was first introduced because in my head he's in his late sixties/early seventies and the fact that he's into a thirty year old and talks about his mom a lot is making me uncomfortable :/ that's on me though, he's not a senior citizen

i'm almost halfway through and this book isn't how i expected it to be and not in a good way :/ i had high hopes for this why am i struggling sm with it
