An interesting setup with changes to several characters, but nothing is happening. I’m halfway through the story, bored to tears, and skimming. This author used to write imaginative stories, but now she puts all her energy into writing descriptions. Yawn.

I like the idea of the story, but why are women bowing to others instead of a curtsey? That should have been caught by a competent editor or beta reader.

And where is Darcy’s valet? His valet should be taking care of him after his injury and staying with him in his room.

I’m bored to tears.

I like the plot so far, but the repetition and lack of proofreading is very frustrating.

Lady Catherine has finally left Pemberley, but I lost count of the number of times that Darcy told her that he would force her to leave if she insulted Elizabeth ONE MORE TIME. He threatened this at least five times, but she kept making offensive comments without him following through. Sigh.

I’m really underwhelmed. The modern female character is especially tedious. At least the 1907 story is interesting. I’ve started skimming through the florid descriptions.

I finished the first (of three) stories, and it didn’t make sense. I thought this story took place after Elizabeth and Jane married Darcy and Bingley. But there is no mention of their advantageous marriages which would have provided excellent connections for her. There is nothing about Lydia and Wickham.

Instead we have Kitty EMPLOYED as a companion to an older lady. No connection to P&P except names.

I'm really struggling to finish this. It's a story comprised of conversations between various women. Caroline is at the center of the story with a heavy dose of Georgiana as the two face the season. No action, and little drama as everything that happens is totally expected and foreshadowed with a heavy hand.

After a great beginning, the story’s pace slowed significantly. Too much time was spent describing the everyday activities of the Bennet sisters. I’m struggling to believe that the Bennet sisters would be allowed to live at Longbourn by themselves. At 40%, Darcy and Elizabeth are finally spending time together. Fingers crossed that something interesting will happen.

I really hope it starts to get interesting soon. So far, with the exclusive E POV, it’s just half a story.
