This book is "hard sci-fi" meaning they're using real science to explain what's happening. It's a lot of numbers and words I don't totally comprehend but it's somehow exciting. The movie will have to make it more digestible.

I was about to stop reading (it's feeling cheesy) but then came the mom's response to getting judged for not circumcising her son: "If a baby boy needs open-heart surgery, leave that poor kid's dick alone." and also "Doreen, if Rob really said it was OK for his mommy to call and bother me with this shit, then his own circumcision took off too much." 💀⚰️

more heartbreaking than when she wrote that she would never commit suicide is when she admitted that she attempted multiple times.

Pretty concerning when she mentions how she wrote that if she ended up dead, don't believe it's an accident and "I am in no way, shape, or form, suicidal"...

I really wish book characters were smarter. Do you think you've been drugged? Call 911 and tell them so, then try to throw up. Is this your first day on Earth?

Murder happened. Unless there's a twist, I think we all know who did it. I really just wish this woman would tell the truth but I guess that wouldn't be as exciting.

It seems she changed her children's names in the book - wondering why, maybe she thought it would protect them but their names are out there. The horror continues. I didn't realize Epstein was first charged in like 2007 or something. DECADES of abuse victims.

I spent most of Sunday curled in a ball hating the world but I'm determined to finish listening to her story.

If you don't believe women and children, please see yourself out, all the way out. There is so much evil in this world and I wish I could save every child with abusive or neglectful parents. Please stop having children only to ruin their lives. This is not an easy listen but I hope people do listen and take this shit seriously.
