I'm loving this, I stan Natalie (so far), and I can't imagine what the twist is.

I've heard most people saying the MC is unlikeable but it doesn't seem all that simple. I disagree with her views but we were obviously raised differently. The flashbacks to college really endear her to me. She's having a hard time, she's speaking her truth, she tries to be nice and gets made fun of. It's not hard to feel for her.

I'm prepared to hate this. So far the good thing is that it confirms my want to be child-free 😂

I like his descriptions of color, a soft earlobe pink and a soapy pink.

Lots of Gaelic which I never see! You can look up the terms or usually figure it out by context. He also includes full sentences and then the translation. I love seeing Yoruba in books because I can sort of pronounce it but I have ZERO idea how to pronounce anything in Gaelic.

She's an interesting one. I can't decide if the hitches in her voice are fake when she says something emotional...feels fake.
