The audiobook narrator was miscast. The audio is also really drawing attention to the low-quality writing. :/ A lot of telling, not showing, and not much faith in the intelligence of the reader (e.g., an explanation of what “…” means in texting). Will probably stick with this to see how the story plays out, and because it’s relatively short.
