July 2024 Theme & Goals:

This month's theme is Americana. The theme is somewhat tongue-in-cheek inspired by an early July finish: The Love Songs of WEB Du Bois, an epic spanning the times of the colonial slave trade, the Civil War, and the current tumultuous era.

Planning to read:

2024 Half Year Reflection (Part II):

Moving forward for the remaining six months of 2024, I will choose a theme for each month and (loosely) select books fitting with that theme.

Themes will focus on: books needed to be cleared from shelves, books enlightening me on places that I will be traveling in 2025, the "100 Best Books of the 21st Century" New York Times List, and random inspirations.
