I’m gonna be so fr rn my eyes are starting to just glaze over this is probably one of the most overwritten books I’ve ever read. it’s just the most bloated, purple prose ever put to page and I’m exhausted.

bro why do people in books like this always smell like the most insane bullshit like this diva just said this man smells like smelted stone with cream…okay so first of all you can’t smelt stone irl that’s just a minecraft thing but ignoring that fact it’s like okay…do you mean like lava??? with cream??? like burnt, curdled milk???? THAT IS NOT SEXY, THAT IS FOUL.

i promise i’m going into this with an open mind and heart, but i just read the prologue and i’m already seeing a clear pattern of issues. i fear for my sanity if i already feel like this so early on and am praying the entire book isn’t like this.
