found a copy of the Marsters audiobook, its gonna be so good!

listening to the audiobook read by Claire Danes for the AVCAD book club.

broke down and bought a copy.

50ish% done, on chapter 8.

listening to the audiobook while i walk.

someone noted the book is more telling if the era it was written in than the future it is writing about and i agree. the 60s are strong with this one.

so finished the last story & starting again from the beginning with "the mist". best quote so far? "Jesus Christ in a chariot-driven sidecar." HA!

Gramma: I remember this one too, quite suspenseful.

"survivor type" - i remember reading this one. the surgeon stranded after a boat sinks and then eats himself? great but horrifying.

i thought i read this back in high school but none of the stories are familiar. picked it up again when i heard "the jaunt" will be made into a movie. so starting at that story & go from there.

this is the book I am always reading.

but who really knows, this file I have has like 3 copies of the book and shows I'm on page 697 of 987. no wonder its taking me forever to finish this, there's no end in sight!
