The concept of having a second child just to be a donor for all the bodily things your first child needs (bone marrow, liver, etc) is INSANE to me — I can already tell this one’s gonna hurt 🫠

Really not liking that the author wrote an obviously autistic character, and is making the story about how he has to overcome his autistic traits and need for accommodations (like routines, scripting, etc). Really reading as ableist, B. K. Borison.
