It was not really my usual genre but I liked the cover and it sounded appealing at the time. Once I started reading I found I could not get immersed in the story.

This is slow going for me.

Initially I found this book hard to get into as there was so much to read, Apart from Scarlett, James, Dean and Mercer there were numerous other characters and the author force feeds us information at a trickle piquing my interest as to where this tragic love triangle will lead. The story line was intriguing and captured my interest to keep reading late into the night.

This book is hard to get into and the whole first chapter about the tree - not so thrilling.

There is never a dull moment in this book as Chloe is running for her life. She is an interesting character and I can easily imagine this world that the author has crafted. Such a page turner and full of twists and turns.

This book is seriously addictive - in a good way.
