I’m hating the drastic change in Ren. Doesn’t feel realistic.

I’ve tried… I really tried… the story is sweet, but damn is it long-winded. We spent 12 chapters just getting from them getting the hotel room until the next morning. There is too much introspection and navel-gazing that does nothing to move the story forward.

TL;DR I fell asleep during an intimate scene…

I wish I didn’t like the MCs… I’m considering DNFing this from all the religious crap being bandied about

Okay, JJ is annoying AF. Life’s too short to force-read a book I’m hating…

Uh… the prequel book was better written than this has been so far and the characters more interesting/sympathetic. Okay, the MC of Fumbling Hearts is one of the MCs here, but I *liked* him in FH. I’m not a fan of JJ here. FR WTF

Why is Xavi just going along with this?! Shouldn’t he be overflowing with questions? Especially after their first two weeks together…

What the actual… That’s not how that works… Not out of the blue like that.

I hate Enfield. I hate Betty. Sparrow’s got a doozy of a hook. Love him for that. Poor Xavi.
