Is this particularly good or compelling? Eh.
If you think of it as a short story though, it’s pretty good!

This book is written by someone who knows teenagers well.

This is really beautifully written so far and h has fantastic pacing and suspense. Can't wait to see where this goes.

The audiobook narrator is really good. I think she fits the character's voice perfectly and even has different fitting voices for different characters.

The Libby app's synopsis of this book seemed fairly normal but it dawns on me that this is probably a YA romance about sexy zombies. I'll keep you updated.

This definitely should have been a duology.

I mean it's good but tbh it should have been over by now. How are we at the climax and there's still 36% left? Why wasn't this split into a duology? The mid way point was a perfect end and even though stuff is hap ending it's dragging.

Tbh every teacher and parent should read this. It's very short and easy to read!!

I am always skeptical of these books as being too idealistic. Either they lean more towards "accept the problem and it's not a problem" or "my solution as a professional organizer who makes their own schedule & has lots of money works for everyone." This is not that. This is good. I feel seen, and I feel helped.

This book is ridiculously good. It is what I was hoping "To Hell With The Hustle" would be and yet somehow better.

Prediction (Spoilers):
Signa will end the book married to Fate but next book, she will end up with Death and Blythe will be with Fate.

Charlotte killed the Duke so she could secure her place with Everett. She knows herbs after all. (This one I'm certain of, and I also can't believe that nobody has been sus of Charlotte yet)

This is way more young adult than the first one, and I am disappointed. The author seemed to get so swept up in creating a compelling plot with twists and turns that the characters and descriptive writing fell by the wayside. I'm enjoying it, but it's not as "can't put down" as the first.
