Prediction (Spoilers):
Signa will end the book married to Fate but next book, she will end up with Death and Blythe will be with Fate.

Charlotte killed the Duke so she could secure her place with Everett. She knows herbs after all. (This one I'm certain of, and I also can't believe that nobody has been sus of Charlotte yet)

This is way more young adult than the first one, and I am disappointed. The author seemed to get so swept up in creating a compelling plot with twists and turns that the characters and descriptive writing fell by the wayside. I'm enjoying it, but it's not as "can't put down" as the first.

There aren't nearly as many pretty descriptions in this book. It's more plot focused.

I don't know. It doesn't feel the same as the last one. It's not quite as gothic. The mystery isn't as suspenseful. I already expected what was going to happen with Blythe the minute Fate was introduced in this book. Now I'm more confident. Similar vibes to Caraval at this point. Hoping it picks up.
