I suspect I will be DNFing this. Somehow, reading about snobby, rich, white people in the west end of NY is just not as compelling as the original. Finding it really hard to find any empathy for these characters. Also, where is the wry Austen humour? The awareness is just not there.

Surprisingly promising for obscure Canadian romance that I found at Walmart, but it's starting to get a bit stale around the mid-point.

I'm not sure what it is about this specific YA fantasy series, but apparently it's a comfort read. I need something I know is good and compelling, so I guess I'll let this take over my life for the next few weeks again.

I am not having a strong start to 2026. I may DNF this one too. It's so bland and the 30 year old FMC reads like she's 18. I love second chance romance, but there's definitely a threshold for what I'm willing to believe, and 14 years is WAY too long for this girl to still be pining over the same guy.

This should have everything I love: friends to lovers, second chance romance, travel, hiking, northern lights. But so far it is soooo bland. The FMC is very annoying.

This book has such beautiful writing for such a heartbreaking story.

I love Angeline Boulley's other books, but I'm really struggling to connect with this one... might DNF....

Really enjoyed this one! Didn't love the audio narrator, but I thought this was a very accurate portrayal of sisterhood.

500 pages is way too long for a fluffy romance. I have really been struggling through it, not a lot has happened in the first 250 pages.

This book is gutting. Definitely not an easy read (content wise, not pacing or readability). I'm listening via audiobook and my hold is going to expire before I finish, but I need to get my hands on another copy to finish it!
