I'm a simple person. I see Luke Kennard has written a novel with a seemingly rom-com cover and a 3.17 average Goodreads rating and I'm intrigued.

7 pages in and this is going to cause emotional damage. I can tell.

I didn't enjoy The Trees Witness Everything as much as her other collections -- hoping for a return to form for one of my favorite poets

i have been bullied into reading romance and i actually started this book in antarctica but then had to leave before i finished and it finally came in on kindle last night and now i'm really almost done with it

only a few pages in and cannot overemphasize how badly I needed this book in grad school. lol. better late than never and reassuring to hear rekdal also say she needed a book like this during her mfa and didn't learn a lot of it until a lot later!
