Such imagination and skill at storytelling...

Great writing, interesting tale. The only drawback is that it reads like a novel on kindle, but is actually a series of short stories so the normal repetition of detail you expect in stories published at different times and places stands out painfully read end to end. I think this would have been better served if the stories had been novelized, and the repetition thinned out.

Story is coming together more, some very interesting threads.

Enjoying this, though the story seems to lack focus at this point. You can tell there is something there driving the plot but it is at a deeper, subsurface level.

I love this author, but unfortunately I am very behind in this series, having only read the first one or two before my discretionary reading fund was curtailed. It is saying a lot about this series and the skill of the author that I am jumping back in at volume 11 and I am not in the least feeling lost and the main characters are still intimately familiar.

This is a big, damn book...almost there, though.

There are some really cool concepts and visuals in this book.

I find I lose track of who is speaking occasionally because there are not as many identifiers. This wouldn't be an issue in a print book where the text is static, but I'm reading an ebook on my phone and I'm getting lost at times.

The story itself is great, very detailed and intricate.

the ebook formatting can be annoying (possibly because it is an e-arc), but the story is rich and detailed and exciting.

Nice story, but my inner editor keeps wanting to intrude.
