This is the first book by this author I’m reading. I’ve always suspected I would struggle. I couldn’t connect to the book at all so maybe it’s just me? I do plan to finish it though. Sometime soon..

I don’t know y I can’t get into this book…

Half-way through I think I’m giving up. It’s not the book, not at all. I actually love CK series I read but for Close Protection, I couldn’t get over Luca’s age. That’s just me. I love Luca’s character and I believe that’s how I’ve even gotten this far but yeah, I couldn’t get over the age. I’m hoping I will pick up from where I left off as I really want to know how Andy’s part ends in the book.

“Yeah. Tell me something though. What color is this shirt?”
“The shirt you’re wearing?” Rob asks, sounding confused.“
Yeah.”“Uh…it’s kind of a pinkish-peach color, I guess.”

😂😂😂 I knew it! I just knew she’d played a trick on him cos of course, she knew he’d have rejected the pink and ask for black!!

I am glad I picked this up!

Uhm… maybe this book isn’t what I need right now…

Lol. Not sure what to say about this one but I loved both characters. Felt out is sync with the book and writing but still a good read.

Barely halfway and this book is already a 5 star rating for me. Cole is...hilarious! 🤣

60% - Audiobook. I am gonna read the rest.

I can’t get into this book AT ALL!! Had good revs but it’s taken me 4 days to get this far so no, I am dropping it. For now, maybe. Or forever. I can’t feel the chemistry and I absolutely hate books where every single thing is explained. Too boring. I am sure author meant Knox to be a man’s man but errr, I don’t feel it at all! Too bad. 4 fucking days till barely half past!!!
