First half of the book absolutely enthralled me. I was totally absorbed, but 310 pages in and everything feels so heavy that I've had to take a break. It's a rough subject matter: constant murder, death, and revenge, but all with a meaning.

This book is like if you mixed the Canterbury Tales with the Last of Us and threw in a tablespoon of Midsommar for good measure. Can’t tell if I would recommend or not
