I can already tell this book will probably annoy me but powering thru for now

this book keeps making me put it down and sigh wistfully and feel sad and happy and seen at the same time anyways all that to say is that it is an exhausting and excellent book for vulnerable and highly sensitive people

Not going to lie, when it dawned on me that a big part of her leaving the WBC was because of a MAN I rolled my eyes so hard.

I am having trouble putting this down and simultaneously do not want to read it at all. It is horrible to read: virulent and hateful and terrifying. But also such a personal insight into the cult that is the Westboro Baptist Church. The level of manipulation, gaslighting, and violence present (but blindly accepted by the author) is sickening.

i was so engrossed in reading this that i missed my stop to work on the bus and ended up in aylmer!

I already can tell I am going to hate this book but I'm going to persevere anyways.
