In a reading slump help…please suggest me titles!!

Not sure what to make of this yet but trying to keep an open mind and expectations low...

Hey all,
Sorry I haven't been super active lately. I think last year was trying for all of us. BUT I made it a goal this year to write a review for every book I read, get back into participating with groups I'm a part of, and to just generally read more this year instead of hitting play on yet another podcast or listening to music. Fingers crossed that I succeed I miss being on here and talking to my friends :)

Well shit. This book is trying way too hard to be different but it's really no different from several fantasy titles out there sooo I'm bored. I'm tempted to dnf but I was promised mermaids so I guess I'll stick with it a little longer.

I feel like I need to apologize for the lack of reviews lately. I'm having a horrible dry spell when it comes to writing. It's something I have such love for as someone who wishes to publish someday. It's killing me inside that my mental health issues are getting in the way. It feels like I'm letting a lot of people down (mostly myself). I hope I will be able to kick this and start writing again soon. Love you all <3

My baby girl crossed over the rainbow bridge and got her wings yesterday. My heart is broken but I'm glad you are no longer suffering. Please cherish your furbabies every day, their lives are too short but it's the best years you will ever have.

Edelweiss is seriously giving me some hardcore anxiety you guys!! I have five arcs that I have requested and for weeks now they have remained open neither approved or declined. Edelweiss is usually pretty on top of that and it gets approved in a week or so. Fellow Edelweiss users do you know what's going on? Is this is a sign that they aren't going to be approved? HELP ME PLEASE for the sake of my sanity!!!!

When you got have gotten addicted to podcasts and don't plow through audiobooks like you used to and probably peeps are waiting for you to read and review that book you have had on your currently-reading list for months now...

Really liking these so far but does anyone else kind of hate short stories? These are all so well developed and end so abruptly I feel like these characters should have a whole novel gah!!

Any recs for some good witchy reads?? I'm really feeling in the mood for a fictional novel filled with lots of witchcraft, hoodoo, or voodoo.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing your not the only fangirl trash over just one ship!! Seriously someone needs to get them out of my head so I can stop writing trashy fanfiction XD

So I go to read a next installment of a series and I don't remember the last one since I read it about a year ago. I have written reviews on the books sure, but reading my feedback of the plot and character still fails to jog my memory!!!! Why oh why was I cursed with the memory span of a goldfish!!

I might have "casually" stalked Jonathan Groff at the performance of Moulin Rouge in Boston this weekend. Hope he didn't notice my weirdo self....

I'm upping the ante by setting my reading goal from 100 to 150 but now I'm having a slight panic attack since it says I'm now 22 books behind schedule.
