My baby girl crossed over the rainbow bridge and got her wings yesterday. My heart is broken but I'm glad you are no longer suffering. Please cherish your furbabies every day, their lives are too short but it's the best years you will ever have.

It is definitely one of the hardest goodbyes I have had to make. Thanks its one of my favorite pictures of her and my other furbaby Jet he's only 7 so he's still going but my baby girl Jessie was his mommie. Anyway thanks for the condolences it truly means a lot.

I think there will always be some pain of loss but fond memories and the passing of time I'm sure will help it hurt a little less like you said. I truly will never forget Jessie but still having Jet her son still young and happy really helps with the pain too.

Thank you so much for the c..." Yes, that definitely helps. When I lost my 16-year old cat, Euphrates, my dog, Bruno was just a year old and required a lot of care at that time. It helped a lot to keep me distracted otherwise it would have been very bleak. Stay strong.

I'm really sorry for your loss. The loss is very difficult to go through even when you know your furbaby isn't suffering anymore.
Maybe reading the book Dog Heaven by Cynthia Rylant would help ease the pain, a bit.
So sorry for the loss of your sweet baby. They break our hearts when they leave us but they made our lives so much richer.
