It’s interesting that Lizzie, Brayden’s sister, is running a true crime social media group that’s currently focused on her sister’s murder. Even more interesting is she’s doing it under a fake name and putting out inside info about the case, not a lot just a tasting.

Detectives Saltzer brought Derek’s wife, Alice, in for questioning about her mother’s hit and run death. The police seem to think that Derek did it so that Alice would inherit her mother’s estate, using part of the money to invest in his company and as we reach the end of the chapter we learn that it is partake true. The truth is that it wasn’t Derek that killed Alice’s mother, it was Alice herself.

All eyes are on Sam as the primary suspect, but it seems too obvious. The women who conducted the autopsy seems to think this was a crime of passion and that Brydan was discarded like trash, but the detectives boyfriend, who is a psychologist, feels that it was less personal and more like sometime getting rid of a problem.

So many possibilities, Braydan was having an affair and so is Sam. The sister also seems to be hiding something. Derek, the man that drives the Tesla, also seems to have anger issues and he is the man Braydan is allegedly having the affair with. Is it possible he lost his temper and kill Braydan.

There are a lot of motives but what is the real story?
