Predictability at its finest, but it has made me laugh a couple times so I'll give it that (plus, I'm still reading it so...)

It was interesting, actually. I read it AFTER I read the sequel and I was pleasantly surprised to find that both books can stand on their own. For someone who somewhat knew what was gonna happen, it managed to keep me interested in HOW it happened. It wasn't a life changer but I enjoyed it. A bit rushed though, just like Hunting Midnight, but then I guess that's as 'slowburn' as you can get on a paperback.

That was a bit of an odd twist there in the end with the mithology. It was ok, I dunno. I did want to read the whole thing to find out what happened plot wise which is more than I can say for other erotic novels so it's not a bad one but I don't see myself going back to read it again.

What can I say? It's exactly what it claims to be: your estereotipically gorgeous, fantastical beings, punctuated with your expected steamy scenes here and there. A bit rushed for my taste but hey, it is what it is.

Is it a classic? No. Am I enjoying it? Yeah, a girl's gotta read.
