DNF at 25%. I tried, but this was not an enjoyable read for me.

I’m about halfway through the book, and so far, the most clever thing about it is that the main characters of a book about traversing a strange land are named Alice and Peter.

Maybe it’s just because my last read (The Buffalo Hunter Hunter) was so excellent as to render everything else lackluster in comparison, but I’m struggling to enjoy Katabasis.

Yes, I am spending the weekend comfort-reading a series I have read half a dozen times.

Oh, I am going to love this.

I'm not even halfway through this book, but I have so many thoughts.

I'm reading it through the library, but I'm going to have to get a copy at the bookstore because I know I will be rereading this.
