Ola is 99% done with Call Me Maybe (Love Lines, #1)

This was one of my favorite romance reads of 2024 and I was already resigned to never owning it physically because of it being an Amazon exclusive. I audibly gasped when I saw a published copy sitting on a random shelf in a random bookstore in Bainbridge Island of all places. So of course I bought it, then proceeded to inhale it over the past 24 hours. And yes, it’s just as great the first read. Ugh, I love them.

Oof, that beginning is still as much of a slog to get through as the first time I DNFed this. It gets better around the 20% mark but geez, is the very beginning a bit tough to get into for some reason. I only decided to give this another chance (after 3 years) because I randomly saw a copy while browsing the shelves at my local library. I’m glad I did. Once it gets going, it’s quite compelling.
