I still can’t really understand what’s going on in this book

Alright now we’re into the woke section of the book going on about racism and gender representations. Now this is what I live for

It’s been so long since I played Chrono Trigger I honestly didn’t even remember that happened. I should’ve finished playing it again before starting to read this book maybe. Probably 10 hours in the DS version.

Turns out the reason I couldn’t follow the story was because I was still reading left to right (even though I was going through the book right to left.

Seems very similar to the movie

It’s weird to read the story she’s telling while I also just lived part of it along with her

This one seems like it’s going to be a long slog, but easy enough to read. I’ve just got terrible habits

I can’t focus rn gonna have to put it down

Not sure I like the sentiment that we need to get rid of *all* rules, but for sure I can agree some of them should definitely go. Obviously I’d prefer that we aren’t relying on private investment and build the homes with public funds owned publicly not for profit. But coops are ok too

I wonder how the suburbs will respond to us saying actually we’re going to just maintain the core area now since it’s what makes us money; or maybe their taxes should go up accordingly

I can respect that some people prefer development styles that are financially ruinous to our city. My local gvt should not feel any obligation to provide those options, particularly at the price points people expect.
