Not sure how this was an international bestseller. It was good but not good enough for me to recommend it to friends. Glad I borrowed this book.

A sweet, young love story with another generation weaved through which causes the breakup. Love is found with others but first loves are hard to forget.

A bit too long of a book for me. Wanted to read a book that was set shortly after WWI and thought this was it. Glad I was able to check the book out from the library and that I didn't pay for it. Good but not that good.
