Omfg so far this is just all summaries from a fictional book with NO plot development in the actual story at hand! Also why is Maggie never concerned about how to get home?!!
Can you please leave the house? And stop talking about people’s clothes and DO something?!!

For a book that is meant to be about A WOMAN, why is half the book so far about the ‘quest’ of A MAN?!!!!!

I won’t be accepting any comments about my re-read unless they are wholeheartedly positive. I’m just a girl. A girl re-living her 1D/JB obsession, one gay hockey couple at a time, 15 years post initial fangirl diagnosis.

‘She was bored and restless and ready to give it all up’ um yeah same girl get to the point!!!

Listening for research, and this is such a wild thing to publish. I know it’s been a while since I read acotar and I might have become a prude, but wow!

Omg this book is so boring! SO much pointless internal monologue, with the same bad readers as in book one but even worse sound mixing and enounciation . First book was mostly entertaining but in this they’ve made even a major plot point 6 boring chapters long without any real development. Hoping Libby or Ezra make an appearance soon. How is this a 3 book series?!

No real character development until page 200 which makes this an abnormally slow and repetitive read. I’ve raced through all the three other books I’ve read from her.
Interesting main character but very flat when the whole point/buildup is development and there is none until so late. Wouldn’t have persisted unless I knew people rave about it (and to avoid a dnf + finish a book in my pile).
