No real character development until page 200 which makes this an abnormally slow and repetitive read. I’ve raced through all the three other books I’ve read from her.
Interesting main character but very flat when the whole point/buildup is development and there is none until so late. Wouldn’t have persisted unless I knew people rave about it (and to avoid a dnf + finish a book in my pile).
