Predictable story so far, the writing is somewhat childish, and the science is really bad! Clearly no research whatsoever went into this story. This set of books is becoming a real slog to (try) and get through. I’m hoping the story will get better, but I’m more the halfway through and it shows no sign of improving. Chances of me finishing this is 50/50 at best.
