Clarity is perceived only in the danger of darkness, at the forces of gravity. Dream time is a fracture from reality where brevity of perception and understanding slips through like sand in an hourglass. Violence is built into the structure of life evidenced by sacrificial blood used to draw in blood seeking predators. Creation’s intention is to destruct.

Finding it hilarious that I’m sympathizing with the main character.

“I can’t understand how any of us are supposed to find the will to carry on when carrying on just means surviving, and surviving just means somehow keeping your lungs breathing and your heart beating through every loss, through every heartbreak. Surviving means just staying here longer to feel it more. Again and again, losing everyone you love. Until you’re the one someone else is mourning.”
