feeling…. ?? very well written so far, very poetic which is fitting for a main character who’s a poet. plot wise it feels unique and interesting. the pacing and timelines aren’t like anything I’ve read

DNF I can appreciate that this would hit the spot for some people but I am not one of them. my ONE piece of positive feedback is that the main character has the mind of an artist and that felt relatable. the style of writing, awful world building, and how utterly unlikable she is turned me way off. I think if I was still in my white oleander is the GOAT era I would have enjoyed but we’re passed that

so many good nuggets of energetic work, some interesting correlations to diet and lifestyle with tuning into your intuition. it’s all one system 🫶

fabulous introduction intuition and how it compares to the classic 5 senses as well as it’s relation to the four modalities of “being” that she follows. her commentary on the root chakra is very much aligned with traditional teaching but adds a lovely flavor of new age philosophy through intuitive living

very interesting so far- good dichotomy between asceticism and hedonism. siddhartha rapidly moves from one form of spiritual learning to the other, and just renounced his hedonistic lifestyle. a nice metaphor was drawn to a caged bird which no longer sings, and dies in its cage with no voice. his spirit grew quiet through indulging his senses so I suspect he will have a return to some form of discipline now.
