Big fan of graven images

I just finished- this book hit me in the heart. I feel as if I've never read a book like this- a longwinded, poignant, story of the road- but from the feminine perspective. The pace is slow, but I think the story is better off for it. The writing is glorious, the world building is almost unparalleled in anything I've read. Hartman's skill leaves me in genuine awe.

This book is a masterpiece. A testament to human diversity and an ode to the beauty of being different. Utterly hilarious and heart wrenching, this book took me apart and then put me back together again.
