Well, I wrote daddy kink. That's a thing that happened.

LHNB edits (round one) done. Now to work on steampunk.

Writing way too many things right now. 8)

So I have a cowritten story in for consideration at Riptide (!!!) and am currently plotting a steampunk short for Dreamspinner. And a twincest novella. Suddenly I have a thousand things to do! It's nice, since I took a two-week break after finishing Practical Guide.

"I'm having a hard time getting into this one. The MC is juvenile, & not in an endearing way. The other MC spends a good chunk of pages being referred to as "Hunk Guy," even after significant interaction between the two. I have a hard time believing that you wouldn't offer someone your name if you're driving them to their hotel. The section with MC 2's mother was funny, but it felt like she was there for exposition.

Noted a couple editing errors.

I like the main character well enough, but the story's starting to get a bit repetitive for me. Ri appears and disappears, the horse appears and disappears, and Seamus worries over and over about "the night" from the prologue.

Solid beginning so far! The thing I wanted most out of this book was Seamus riding Ri, and I got it already.
