Confession: I'm a really slow reader. I also have gotten incredibly picky about what I read. I look for flawed, relatable characters, a fun premise, and some darkness, but the writing has to be stellar. But I LOVE a really long, layered story, especially if it's the first in a series. So far, this checks all those boxes and has held my attention, so it's got my hopes up.

I love this author. Funny, brilliant satire and so very f**king weird...

Writing & editing deadlines have kept me from finishing this more quickly, but I'm loving the unexpected mix of erotic fairy tales. They work well together and some are darker than others (I do love a dark story) but it's a fun read as you move from one to the next, not knowing what you may find…

Not at all what I expected it to be. Much more of a grab-bag than a continuous story, but a great read so far.

Hands down the weirdest f*cking thing I've ever endeavored to read, but it's horrifyingly amazing.
