I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Erik Larsen has a way of brining history to life. Particularly interesting to read during a pandemic! It made my burdens seem mild in comparison.

Interesting to read about the challenges facing women in the army year of women fliers first in the RAF and then in the Army during WWII.

One of my favorite reads this year.

This was a gift from my sister. I read it quickly and was very intrigued with the story. Well written and interesting characterizations but it felt a little like there was something left out or off with one of the character's complete change of personality after a major life event. All in all a good read and well worth the time.
