Any book that has you laughing out loud before the end of the first chapter, can't be bad.

Gah! Our protagonist just let one of her dachshunds eat a chocolate chip. I hope the author, as well as the rest of the world, knows that chocolate is toxic to pets.

I just finished Them Bones: A Mystery from the Mississippi Delta (Sarah Booth Delaney Mystery Book 1). Couldn't put it down, exciting mystery with likable characters.

I just finished Killer Tails: 8 Pawsome Cat & Dog Cozy Mysteries by 8 Bestselling Authors.

Guru Bones was great. I have a couple of Carolyn Haines books here I've been wanting to read, now I'm inspired to start on them.

Book 7: Two O'Clock Heist - Couldn't put it down, and was sorry to reach the end.

Book 6: Eye of Newt - pretty good, with lots of twists and turns. May read more of this author.

Partnerships Can Be Murder - very good mystery. This is the first of this author's books I've read, but it certainly won't be the last.

Cupcakes, Paws, and Bad Santa Claus - cute story, lousy formatting with the recipes showing up with no break at the ends of chapters.

Just finished book 3, A Hiss-tory of Magic. If I were rating this book alone, I might give it 3 stars. I generally like the genre, witches and cats in a cozy family mystery, but I found the writing style fractured and difficult to follow. I found myself going back and re-reading pages trying to make sense of what I read, and wondering if I had skipped a page.

I just finished Ghostly Paws, which I read just last year, but I'm finding it fun to go back and read the beginning of a series that I've been reading for a while.

Definitely interesting re-reading the first Midnight Louie mystery after reading the rest of the series.
