Books kinda wild so far - Really disappointed in Rose, Lissa and Dimitri right now. Shit is hitting the fan and all their personal growth is out the window. My asshole is clenched reading the last 10 chapters I just want my girl Rosa safe.

Okay not super critical but we are book 3 into the series why are we repeating ourself about what blood whores are or other world building things. I’m getting a little tired reading it over and over again maybe it’s because I’m reading the books so close together. Very much still reads like a 2000s vampire YA romance but I do like it despite my rant x

Very YA so far, like the writing is very teenager to me. I’m sure I would’ve loved it in high school. Not super fussed on it so far I just like vampire media. I’ve always wanted to read the series tho it seems like a vampire classic similar to how twilight is

Seen some critical reviews of this book, but I love it don’t know why people view it as airport fiction. This is why I don’t like seeing spoilers before I’m finished. I adore all the octopus pov and scenes in the aquarium. after this book is done I WILL be booking a trip to my local sometime.

This is so garbage. The meatloaf dinner sex conversation scene was such an awful read.

Only read this out of obligation because I bought it years ago and it’s burning a whole in my bookshelf. So far I don’t love it and will be giving it to a street library once I complete it. Hopefully someone else enjoys it

It’s taken me like 2 years to actually pick up this book and read it. I usually hate sequels in romance series but this was good…like really good. This book felt like it could’ve been a stand alone there was no messy cross over from the previous book where the original protagonists loose their charm. So far I’m liking it
