I'm not a big historical era reader so it's a big hard for me to get into but because this is for book club I'm trudging along. The lingo is hard to get into and I don't like that the author isn't switching between characters and places very smoothly.

The spice is spicing.

The banter is so funny. I love it. You can feel the chemistry through their interactions.

Loving Halle and Henry’s friendship so far. They clicked so easily.
