this is a really easy read so far, love the choice of it being letters between everyone and you really get a sense of everyone's personalities through their letters: the language they use, sentences, their sentiments

a very gentle and easy read so far, Dave is very endearing and you can sense his youth through the writing but excited for time to progress and for him to grow

this is very fun however, there's a lot going on. So many themes being discussed and characters thrown around that it gets a big bamboozling, but still enjoying

slowly but surely making my way through this...I really do not like the characters, but the writing does draw you in and i want to know what happens to them

when starting this I thought oh I CBA, but it's sweet, nothing amazing so far but I like Finn and sasha

He's going off on tangents that are hard to follow, but it's very fun and I have giggled a few times let's go old russian prose

This has become extremely interesting, and I still adore Lee's writing style. Intrigued to see how this book finishes but also don't want to let it go yet

I find Lee's writing so fun to follow, it's almost conversational and it's very wry and sharp. Excited to see where this story takes me and also learn more about Henry's past case that keeps being mentioned

The writing is very easy to follow, I'm not getting the same metaphorical prose as I did in Melville's (years ago I may be remembering wrong), but im intrigued by the gender-swap and how that will add to the tale

Idk if my tastes have changed but so far it's a tad clunky. The paragraphs are flying over the place. However, I'm only 8% through and lots of re-introductions are being made so I won't judge yet
