A little disappointed so far. The book feels very rambling. It does give some insight into the situation, but parsing it all together is tedious.

Today I realized something which had been in my mind for a while. How can we have a global minimum wage and how can that work. I realized today, that probably is the wrong goal. What the real goal should be is reducing our importation of foreign made goods.

Loved this book. Raised in Kentucky, this author can make your head spin with her similies and southern sayings. I laughed out loud many times even with the serious nature of this book.

This is an enjoyable historical fiction which illustrates how a genealogist and author influences his research with his own experience. Lots of interesting bits here regarding notions of fidelity and an authors perogative.

The first chapter was a slow start for me. I did not realize that this book was third in a series. I did not read the first two. I am really enjoying this. Certainly a Chinese perspective SciFi.
