An attempt at a very expansive scale. Reasonably good writing, but sometimes digresses a little too much.

Initially, it seemed like a journalist putting together a string of articles and trying to sound funny while doing it

But as the book progressed, writing became coherent and directional

I seem to have outgrown this genre

The killer is given more airtime than he deserves

Even at 90%, the editor doesn't want you to enjoy it.

I am almost tempted to downgrade the rating due to editing. But that won't be fair to the author.

At the business end of things

As much as I love Reynolds, the third book in the series will be my last one.

Books are LARGE, and not just in number of pages, but parallel storylines as well.

While I loved that in the first book, it becomes challenging to hold all the threads together in the second book.

And I end up using gpt to check if i remember the story correctly. And gpt makes a truckload of errors.

I read a negative review and was reconsidering this book.

Glad I went ahead. Interesting read

Idris knew SOMETHING about Unspace at 30%. I am 90% done and I still don't know what was that. I doubt I'll know anything by the end of this book :(

One of the better YA novels. Death is taken a little more seriously. Unlike a Good Girl's guide to Murder. Good twist. Half expected though.

This is hard work, but worth it

Ibrahim and Connie exchange is so much fun, that you almost forget that Elizabeth has been kidnapped

The air fight description was a little hard to follow. Better to follow now (about fights and hopelessness in both North and South). But make no mistake. This is a LONG book.

Full on masala book. Although very convenient use of plot devices. And initially very heavy on political posturing.

Has been fun to read nonetheless.

Breeze read this despite the size. But Act III drags a little. Could've done with some tight editing though

The book is wonderful indeed. But the assumption that everyone reading this book has an unexplored suffering which he has not been able to mitigate is too simplistic.
