One weakness of this book is that it leaves very little / nothing to chance / luck and outliers. The line of thought (and i might be wrong here) seems to be that EVERYTHING can be learnt. Including wisdom. While we can incorporate some changes, but not all. We may not have the time to play out each scenario every time. That is precisely why we have heuristics.

I get what the author is trying to say. But what he calls 'biases' are actually heuristics. While using heuristics you are not guaranteed perfect answers all of the time, in some fields if you abandon heuristics, you'll end up not taking a decision at all.
Similarly on Einstein. He was wrong in his unified theory. But it was the same approach that gave us the theory of relativity.
You can't have a sieve THAT fine.
