I usually really enjoy historical fiction and WWII era stories often still hit for me, despite being often over done. Im STRUGGLING!!! The multiple POV has made each one of them flat. I just don’t care.
Aspects of this narrative also seem to be needlessly gruesome. This is a DNF for me.

Why is nothing landing right now? Ugh

This is the most remarkable story. Truly fascinating piece of American history with implications for generations.

Is there anything Viola Davis can’t do??? Doing this on audio and 10/10
