Ugggh. I wanted to finish this before the library wanted it back. Darn holidays and other mundane crap making me too busy. Back on the waiting list.... until we meet again Blood and Starlight.

Lily ~ A magic monkey paw that grants three wishes. Be careful what you wish for!

Evelyn ~ Actually Evelyn and Blanche, twin sisters and a magic mirror. Meh.

David ~ What! Is someone pulling my leg? Did Gina help David with his story? Giant Sea Monkeys? Completely ridiculous and my favorite so far. I liked the nostalgia of all the 1950's toys.

Scott ~ I'll quote the beginning of the story "creepy as crap". Photographing an abandoned insane asylum in the middle of a terrible storm, alone and at night is never a good idea... are the ghosts real or all in his head?

Johnnie ~ I'm not sure I really understand what happened here. This was sort of a ghost story in a ghost story. There was definitely a twist in this one. I think some voodoo magic perhaps oh and some spiders for the creep factor. *shivers

Gina ~ This was a "the girl who cried wolf" story. Interesting but pretty straight forward. There was no twist to the story, pretty predictable. I enjoyed her "lies" that she considered, stories to make her drab life more interesting.

Mike ~ This book is short ghost stories rolled into one story. Mike is the living character of this book. He was driving down the road on a dark night (of course, because how scary would a sunny day be) and picked up a haunting hitchhiker which leads him to a graveyard to return a pair of her shoes. It's here that he hears the ghosts tell him their tales of how they came to be... or... not to be?

Well it's about time! Hehe

I'm so glad I got this in audio. It's great!

300 pages down. 200 to go and I haven't lost interest since page 1.

Ewww. Gross. Not regular gross but vomit in your mouth gross. It was over pretty quick though. I'm so glad I didn't start this chapter before bed last night. Riding the waves of rotting corpses does not make for sweet dreams. Perfect for an afternoon though!

I thought, how can I only be at 41%? Oh it's a 500 page book? My kindle doesn't feel that heavy though. ;)

While I am really enjoying this book so far I do have one gripe. This is the second time that Erin has done what somebody has told her. That's fine but the author words it that she "obeys", I know that technically the word is used correctly but it just bothers me anyway. Can't she just "do what she was instructed" or something. She's a warrior and "obeys" some guy she just met that day. It just bugs me.

I can't even read I'm so mad at him right now! What a jerk! Uggh. Ok. I have vented, back to it. Grumble grouse grumble grouse.
