Honestly, I blindly started this book without reading reviews or a summary of what it was about. I just knew it was a twisted thriller and someone died. So why not start this spooky season with a light thriller? Chiiile, I’m triggered!! 😫 Korey is is a class A predator (very R Kelly/diddy coded) and my heart breaks for Enchanted. So much to unpack. Lawd. Somebody save this baby and Jessica!!

The first time I read this, I remember the end pissed me clean off. . . We’ll see if I still feel the same lol

I genuinely forgot how irritating Amari and Inan are in the beginning. 😂😩
I find myself fussing at them every time I’m reading from their point of view.

Running this back to buddy read with my sis. Loved it the first time I read it and I’m sure ima love it the second round. ☺️

Gotta give Amari grace for some of her poor decisions because she is a child. 😂😩

Excited to start the 3rd one now that I know when the 4th book will drop ☺️.
I love this series so much. 🥰

This is actually really cute so far but . . . Something’s missing.

Another one of those books where the storyline is actually pretty good. . . If they would just get off of each other long enough to tell it. 😒

I honestly love it here. It kind of reminds me of divergent a little, but with dragons and powers.
The development process is exciting to me. Some may consider it a slow burn because of that, but I actually really enjoy this phase.

I feel like this book is either for you or it’s not. No in between. . . And it’s definitely for me ☺️.

Penn Badgley did an amazing job at making Joe seem a bit charming because this man is a complete psychopath. Although in the Netflix series he definitely is as well, you are completely in his mind in the novel and my god. At first it was hard to not read it in Penn’s voice but as I continued and the story was different, I was able to separate the book from the series. A lot more details here of course. ☺️
