The book is really good so far, but it seems like almost every paragraph refers to topics that will be discussed in upcoming chapters (We'll discuss that more in Chapter 5), for example. It's not necessary.

Pinchbeck references a lot of cool ideas here that I hadn’t heard of before like vertical farming and time banking. I’m glad to have come across those. But the prophetic tone and references to his own spiritual journey get tiresome. This type of book (one that tries to sum up all the problems in the world and also prescribe solutions) should be written by many people, not by one—and especially not another white guy.
