DNF at the 50% mark. May finish it later, but couldn't bring myself to finish reading it. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

I actually started listening to this 2 days ago, but failed to add it on Goodreads.

So far I'm loving it!

I had to take a break, because I seriously dislike this FMC. She's so whiny and so freaking stupid, that she irritates me to no end. I love the magic system, and I love the MMC, but she's sucking the life out of me. So I took a break and listened to A Deal with the Elf King instead. I plan to finish it, but hoping it gets better, because ugh! I want to punch her!

I'm listening to the graphic audio, and it's way too slow for me. I keep stopping and starting I'm going to give it a few more chapters, but I may have to DNF this one. The beginning was great, so I'm hoping it picks up.

I'm listening to the audible version. As usual, Anthony Palmini plays the male characters brilliantly, but idk if I can actually finish. The FMC is spineless and has 0 personality. She's boring me to tears. The story is ok but slow. I don't mind it's fairly dark, but damn. Can this girl have a reaction about anything? I can't relate to Orin at all (apologies if I spelled her name wrong, I only have the audio book).

Corvin King’s voice is my newest obsession so I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this one!!!

I’m going to have to re-read this book several times to really soak up all its truth and wisdom. It’s worth it.

This is one of the most fascinating books I’ve ever read. I’m not sure I’m grasping all of the content, but the parts I’m able to take in, I absolutely love.

I love this book! His wisdom hits hard and sinks in deep. My favorite line so far has been: Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to "die before you die"--and find that there is no death.

Oh, wow, I love the moral dilemma of this story. Sooo good! I can't get enough of this story. And Newt! Noooooo! I love him. He can't do this to me or to Thomas. Someone stop him and stop the flare and stop WICKED once and for all... I love this shucking story. Lol

I'm already a junkie for this book. *sigh* I'm the one that needs the "cure," because I'm psycho for this story. Heehee.

Wow! This story just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely love it! It's even better than the Maze Runner. And the writing has drastically improved. I can't wait to see how it ends and then move onto the next book. Adore all the new characters in this installment in the series!

So far I'm loving this sequel even more than the first book. Love the psycho, diseased people outside the windows screaming and trying to break in. These lunatics are scarier than the grievers! Can't wait to find out what happened to Theresa and how they'll get out of the compound and survive. Want to know more about the black rain, too, and find out what happened to the Gladers who stayed behind. So many questions!

It's been a while since I read the first book, and for some reason I don't remember Tris sounding so young and juvenile. I did love the argument between her and Four, but man, he sounds fairly immature and not nearly as forceful. Where did that alpha male go? So far, the story seems to be dragging as well. Hoping it'll pick up, since I'd like to finish reading it before the movie comes out. Hold my interest, dang it!

Picked it back up. I really need to get this thing read before the movie comes out even though I'm aware the movie's nothing like the book. Missing Walking Dead so gotta get my zombie fix somewhere... :D

Decided to give it another try. Just finished the part with the mom, originally from San Diego, but now residing in the "New Community" in Troy, Montana. Kind of ticked right now because finally there's a story/character to relate to but it leaves us hanging. We don't know if the dad made it, and that story stopped right as it was getting good. Had me on the edge of my seat.

Whoa! Loving Tyrese so far, and Carl just got shot. Whoa! That town they were in was creepy! I love the quick pace of the books. Keeps me going.

Not gonna lie. I lost interest because it's all Q & A, and after a while it all starts to blend together because it's all just from the narrator's perspective. I still hope to finish it, but had to take a break, so this is now on hiatus.
